Tips for having a great Hedo trip

Before You Go Airport to Resort At the Resort Going Home Aftermath

Room Descriptions

The rooms have large drawers for all of your clothing.  In addition there is a hanging closet that has a floor shelf for shoes, and a top shelf for putting items like sweatshirts or bags.

The beds are adequately comfortable.  They all have mirrors on the ceiling above them.  We jokingly said that having a mirror above the bed “was like watching a porno, only with us in it”.  Not something we all would have at home, but great fun at Hedo.

There is an AM/FM CD player.  The local stations are OK, but we prefer to bring our own self made CD’s for music.  The TV was never on in our room, except once briefly the night before we left just to see what was “going on in the real world”.  They do have all the basic cable channels along with Playboy, etc.  But most people leave them off.

The bathrooms are basic, but work well.  There are no extractor fans, so you leave the vent / window open.  Remember to close the door to the bathroom, otherwise all you’re A/C will go out the window.  The 6 head showers are nice, but once you are over the novelty the regular showerhead works fine.  I always hear comments about cold water at Hedo.  Maybe it is because we are on a slightly different schedule, but we have never run into this yet.  I would assume that right before sunset, all the beach people are showering their sunscreen off.  We don’t typically leave the beach until after the sunset (and several drinks at the hot tub).

The floors are tiled, which actually makes sense since you are often steps away from the beach.  Other than this, the décor is “island style” which is short for adequately nice.  Too nice, and it would get trashed by all the sand and sun.  You are here for the stuff that goes on outside the room, so the room is simply a place to lay your head at night.

We would always leave the window open at night to listen to the ocean (ocean side room).  This was nice, and it helped us wake up in the morning.

There is a safe in every room.  It is a great place for your passports, wallets, etc that you will not need until you leave.

What to do after you check in...

That's the hard part. There is so much you can do. The best advice we can give is to talk to people. If you go to the pool, pool bar, or jacuzi, there will be people there. Talk to them and ask what is going on. There are many, many things to do at the resort, and if you check the daily events board you will find lots of organized events going on. Some people want to do stuff, others like to just lay around and relax. For some, the walk from the beach lounger to the bar is tiring.

Some of the things you can do at the resorts:

Hedonism II

Hedonism III

Due to the fact that Saturday night is a "slow" night as organized entertainment goes, many guests have turned Saturday night into an informal "Naughty Schoolgirl" and Priest party. Other acceptable outfits also include Cheerleader outfits, Nuns, men wearing Referree outfits, as well as story book outfits like Snow White, Little Bo Peep, men in Big Bad Wolf outfits, and others (all with a Hedo flair to them... think Little miss Muffet with a G-string). This starts at dinner and goes on to the disco and other parts throughout the night.
